Defined Benefits – New Section MNOPF
The day-to-day running of the administration of the New Section benefits is carried out by JLT Employee Benefits who were acquired by Marsh & McLennan Companies (MMC) on 1 April 2019. The JLT team continue to administer the Fund and, going forward, members should see no difference to the services they receive. Over the coming months JLT will rebrand themselves as Mercer (who are also part of the MMC group). JLT’s pension scheme administration duties include collecting contributions, paying pensions and other benefits, keeping the MNOPF’s member and financial records and supplying information.
Defined Benefits – Old Section MNOPF
The benefits from the Old Section of the MNOPF are provided by Rothesay Life or Legal & General following the buy-out of this part of the MNOPF.

Defined Contribution – Ensign Retirement Plan (for the MNOPF)
The Ensign Retirement Plan (for the MNOPF) was closed on 31 March 2018 and all member benefits transferred to the Ensign Retirement Plan. Following a re-fresh of the brand, the Ensign Retirement Plan is now known as Ensign. You can find out more at the Ensign website.
